This bright and beautifully maintained apartment is perfectly positioned just a short stroll from the breathtaking Porto de Mós beach, one of the most scenic and peaceful stretches of coastline in Lagos. With its wide golden sand, dramatic cliffs and crystal clear Atlantic waters, this is the kind of location where the beach becomes part of your everyday life.

From your door, it is an easy walk down to the sand, where relaxed beach bars and oceanfront restaurants set the tone for long, unhurried days by the sea. Whether it is an early morning swim, a lazy afternoon in the sun, or sunset drinks overlooking the waves, everything here is designed around effortless coastal living.

What makes this location truly special is the coastline that surrounds it. Step onto the cliff top paths and you can walk in one direction towards Praia da Luz, a charming seaside village with a laid back atmosphere, beach cafés and beautiful sea views along the entire route. In the other direction, the path leads you towards Lagos, passing dramatic cliffs, hidden coves and some of the most spectacular scenery in the Algarve before reaching the vibrant marina and historic old town. These are some of the most unforgettable coastal walks in the region, all accessible directly from the apartment.

Set on the second floor, the apartment offers a comfortable and relaxing base after days spent exploring the coast. Fully air conditioned throughout, it is designed for easy holiday living with a well equipped kitchen that includes everything you need, plus a BBQ on the terrace for relaxed outdoor dining.

Outdoor living is a real highlight here, with two spacious terraces providing plenty of space to unwind. One flows from the living area and the other from the kitchen, creating a seamless indoor outdoor lifestyle. The south facing aspect ensures sunshine throughout the day, while guests also benefit from access to a communal swimming pool and an adult only Jacuzzi, both just a short walk away for peaceful relaxation.

Inside, the apartment is light and welcoming with an open plan living and dining area that connects directly to the terrace. It sleeps up to four adults, with an additional sofa bed available for two children, making it ideal for families or small groups.

The master bedroom includes an ensuite bathroom and fitted wardrobes, while the twin bedroom offers built in storage and a calm, comfortable feel. Air conditioning throughout ensures comfort in every season.

Lagos itself is one of the Algarve’s most vibrant and desirable coastal towns, combining beaches, culture, history and a lively marina atmosphere. From here, everything is within easy reach, yet the peace of Porto de Mós makes it feel like your own private corner of the coast.

Please note that stag or hen parties and similar groups are not permitted, and quiet hours are observed between 11 pm and 7 am to ensure a peaceful environment for all guests. The minimum age for check in is 25.

Apartment Vista Mar is situated next to Lagos Marina that has a walkway over to the centre of Lagos with its myriad of cafés, restaurants and shops. It is approximately 300m from Meia Praia beach.

The third-floor, tastefully-furnished and bright apartment has three bedrooms, one en-suite, with the living / dining / kitchen areas all open plan. At 133m² the apartment sleeps six people and has air conditioning which also heats the apartment in the cooler months.

Outside, the very large terrace has plenty of exterior furniture with motorised awnings and a barbecue.

The communal swimming pool and gardens are accessed through the garage where there is an allocated space for our guests' car.

Situated on the top floor there is are lifts from the building lobby and from the garage.

This apartment is fully equipped for your stay including free Wi.Fi and UK television. Kitchen facilities, apart from the usual white goods, include a dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine etc. The property is professionally cleaned.
 
There are two water parks within a 30-minute drive of the apartment and both run a return bus service every day.

The theme park Zoomarine is not far, just a 45-minute drive and also runs a bus service from Lagos. Zoomarine's main attractions include exhibitions by dolphins, seals and sea lions, an aquarium with sharks, 4D cinema, various rides, attractions and swimming pools. The theme park is also a reception for injured wild aquatic animals that are released back into the wild once they have recuperated.

If you are an animal lover, Lagos Zoo is also only a 10- to 15-minute drive away with the monkey islands being a great favourite with children.

For keen golfers, there are 40 golf courses in the Algarve, of which over 10 can be found within a 30-minute drive of the apartment. The nearest, Onyria Palmares golf course, has 18 holes and is only 2.5kms away.

Lagos marina is only a short drive away. From here you can take daily boat trips around the caves, go on dolphin watching trips, sea kayaking, paddle boarding, deep sea fishing and also take part in an array of other water-based activities.

If you are interested in history, Lagos is a city steeped in it with origins dating as far back as 2000 years BC.
