Description
Casa Santalena, a 3-bedroom 2-bathroom villa with swimming pool, is located in Sesmarias, close to Carvoeiro. Sesmarias has a few cafés, restaurants and also a convenience store just around the corner from the villa which is ideally suited for families.
The professionally-cleaned accommodation consists of three air-conditioned bedrooms; two twin bedrooms sharing a bathroom and a master bedroom with two double beds and an en-suite.
The large open-plan living/dining area includes a large television with access to British channels and a DVD player with a choice of DVDs, there is free Wi-Fi and internet connection.
The fully-fitted and equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave etc. The bathrooms and kitchen have been tastefully renovated and the villa is complete with a log-burning fire.
The villa has 207m² and offers an ambiance and standard not usually found in rented accommodation. There is a carport offering off-road parking.
The swimming pool has a private terraced space surrounding it, to the rear of the villa, with an outdoor shower and there is a charcoal barbecue., located outside the kitchen.
Air conditioning is available in all bedrooms, which also provides heat during the winter.
The village of Carvoeiro is a short drive away and offers a host of cafés, bars, shops, numerous superb restaurants, a beach and various activities such as boat trips to the vast array of caves and caverns in the area, a scuba diving centre, kayaking, pedaloes and much much more. The village also hosts many open-air musical events throughout the summer months.
Lagoa is also very close with several large supermarkets where you can stock up on favourite items and a modern shopping mall with clothes shops, domestic outlets and restaurants is 20-minutes away.
There are three water parks in the Algarve, all within a 30-minute drive of the apartment. The closest, Slide and Splash is just 5km away. Some may have a shuttle service offered so check with local ticket outlets.
If you are an animal lover, Lagos Zoo is also only a 30- to 40-minute drive away with the monkey islands being a great favourite with children.
We strongly advise you to take out comprehensive travel insurance including cancellation cover, personal belongings and public liability.
No stag/hen parties or similar groups are allowed.
No excessive noise between the hours of 11pm (23h00) and 7am (07h00).

Stunning villa, pool is large and the location is very private. Yet close to other villas , a few restaurants and local shop .

We had a wonderful time in Casa Santelena. We enjoyed the pool and everything the villa provided for us. There were 4 adults and one baby. Plenty of room for all of us. We had a courtesy visit after our day of arrival to check if we needed any help wsee more

The oven temperature dial didn't work properly. You had to turn the dial without the controller on to get it to work. It did get very hot in the living room as there was no air conditioning. There was a fan provided but I think it should of been a lasee more

We had the pleasure of staying at Santalena very recently and had a great time. The area of Sesmarias is quiet and peaceful, yet all the amenities we needed were within walking distance – a local shop, bars and two fantastic restaurants, one of which (Bon Bon) has been awarded a Michelin star!
